Online privacy is important to me, so for this reason I’ve created a basic and easy to understand privacy policy regarding the information collected about you on this website.
First and foremost, it’s important for you to know I don’t collect any personally identifiable information about you. I won’t be able to say, “Oh Wow! Susy Q from Wisconsin who lives at 123 Anywho Road in Anytownsville visited my website! She had two kids and a dog and likes to play Scrabble!”
While that may be entertaining, none of that data is available to me or anyone else for that matter when you visit this website. We do however collect some information each time someone visits our website. These are called statistics and log files, which help me bring you the best advice and information to grow strawberries. I track information such as what browser you are using (to make sure my site is compatible and displays properly) – what pages you visit (so I know whether my articles are helpful!) and how much time you spend here (so I can find out if you like me site!) These and the other statistical things I track don’t really mean a whole lot to the average person, but they sure do help me continue to improve my website!
I also offer an email subscription article service on this site you can be notified anytime I post a new article. Your email address is all that is collected, and I will not send you anything besides our regular updated articles unless I specifically ask you it’s okay first.
Now, here’s where things get a little confusing. On this website I may periodically recommend products or display advertisements. These things help pay the hosting bills and the cost of running this site, which seem to get more and more expensive each and every year! Because I may use third party vendors (such as Google or Amazon for example) to manage the ad content, I have no control of what advertisements are displayed. It’s also important to know these websites have their own privacy policies and may collect their own information when browsing. Google for example uses the Double Dart Cookie, which you may wish to opt out of if you’d like.
Now that you have an idea of what information we collect about our website visitors and our privacy policy, I’m sure you’ll find that this policy is a pretty standard and similiar one you’ll see on most websites out there. If you have any questions however, feel free to Contact Me
